Surrounded by historic trees, rolling lawns, deep
woods and blooming gardens, the RECENTLY RENOVATED historic CARRIAGE
HOUSE at PORTERS LODGE, 185 MAIN STREET, in prestigious Farmington
Connecticut, provides a gracious setting for your private or corporate
gathering.
It may be rented for any type occasion,
and prices vary as to day of week and times needed. In warmer weather, a
30" x 30' canopy covers an out door patio; and a 22' x 36' wrap
around deck, also provides fresh air venues, with wonderful views of the
adjoining woods.
Your caterer or we can recommend
one. Heat is available, in colder times.
The inside features two floors, and an
open floor-atrium--- About 120- 130 are able to sit downstairs,
about 35-45 upstairs.
With " grazing" dining, or
buffets and some use of outside areas, the CARRIAGE HOUSE can accommodate
150-165. With the POOL HOUSE, and / or the outside lawns, another 50 - 90
persons can be accommodated.
The POOL HOUSE area can be used for a
wedding ceremony. Its deck seats about 65- 95
persons.
